Although the Strike 18 is the most popular of my five small trimaran daysailing designs it's smaller sister the Strike 16 is also a great boat. I just saw this photo online, note the big cockpit that easily seats 4. And the windshield that keeps the (possibly nervous non sailing) crew, dry. It is based on a 14ft beach cat (my Pixie in this case) so potentially you only have a very simple hard chine main hull to build.
